Cvjetovi Dalmacije

"Flowers of Dalmatia"

Caklenjača (Salicornia europaea) prevladava u prvom pojasu do mora na muljevitim obalama i slanom tlu.

Salicornia (lat. Salicornia europaea) halophyte (salt tolerant) flowering plant in the family Amaranthaceae that grow in salt marshes, on the beaches. It has beautiful pink flowers. Due to prevealing rocky and reef Croatian coast its habitats are rare and endangered, mostly by filling the shore with gravel or concrete. This plant can be seen in Karin and Novigrad sea where are photos made.
